The Obligatory Introduction

The birth of this humble blog marks the start of a brand new semester. In a somewhat tardy manner, perhaps, but the inertia inherant to vacations justifies it.
Work in Progress, thusly named for both our little group's inability to find a proper name in a pinch and as a reflection of what we, as students, are, will be the corner into which we shall dump thoughts, ponderations, anotations and other verbosities.
Composing the team that manages and coordinates this blog are, in no special order, Mario Pereira, our blog designer; Bruno Carvalho, our technical assistant; Maria Pereira, our manager and motivator; Diana Teles Quiterres, serving as sub-editor, and yours truly, Luís Bernardino, as Editor.
Indeed, as editor of this blog, it has been my duty - and above all, pleasure - to write this introduction, thus launching what will be the little spotlight in which we will express ourselves for the remainder of the semester.
After which there will be summer vacations.
And cake.

Thank you, Luís, for your lovely introduction! And thank God you are our Editor, our not so blessed use of English will surely need your help!;)

Hope this marks the beginning of a healthy progressing work...

Work in progress, indeed an original name for a blog and a reflection of ourselves, a work in progress for live per se.
Piece by piece of knowledge, we grow wiser.
Keep on posting and I will keep on reading.
